City of Darwin is looking for a Youth Programs Trainee. The successful applicant will benefit from real world experience in a supportive workplace along with formal study and on-the-job training. If you are passionate about creating opportunities for young people and building a more connected community this is an excellent opportunity to get started in your chosen field.

The role has a core study component, requiring completion of a Certificate IV in a relevant subject area aligned to workplace projects. There is some flexibility to choose the study topic as long as it’s a good match for the type of work our Youth Programs team delivers. Appropriate study areas may include business administration, event management, recreation services, digital media etc.
